A little about me...
Since childhood, drawing, building, and creating have always been apart of my life. Countless hours were spent being occupied by nothing more than a piece of scrap paper and anything I could use to draw.
But in high school I would fall by chance into the world of science, the school’s computer would place me in AP Science courses instead of AP Art courses. Art was placed on the back burner, simmering here and there when I had time to heat up my passion and create some art out of it.
My relationship with science would last until my third day of college at Westminster College, when I reunited with my passion for art. I graduated with a degree in Art Education, but after my student teaching, I realized that teaching in a school was more than what I had expected and it really wasn’t a direction that I wanted to take.
After college I spent time working for a trim shop driving cars around and installing sunroofs, which I enjoyed, and then I went to work for my dad at his pet supply distribution business in Youngstown. I did this for eleven years and learned a lot about business during this time, but I had again put my love for art on the back burner. Frustrated, I talked to with my dad and we decided to close the business. Since then, I’ve been a full time artist with my wife, whom I met in an art history class at Westminster. The two of us are happy doing what we feel we are meant to be doing.
